La Vida

This is life, or at least my life, in its true, chaotic form. In Chicago or wherever the wind may take me, here are my photos and ponderings.

As we got exhausted from hiking we made a realization, we had three miles left to the end, to the bus. Unwilling to make that trek in the dark and without a flashlight, I instead followed the map to a visitors center. We arrived at 4:15 and asked if buses stop there, we were told to wait on a bench for a 5:05 bus. By 4:20, the place had completely shut down. By 4:45 everybody was gone and we were alone in the Taiwanese mountains hoping for this bus to appear out of nowhere and pick us up. Luckily we couldn’t ask for a better view to enjoy. 5:06 the bus arrived. That is the guardian angel that is Taiwan.
